Great Falls on the 28th

Postby Mel Kuipers » Fri Sep 26, 2008 9:54 am

weather looks right to race in GFs on sunday the 28th...it is at Malmstrom, and security clearance is required--which I don't have...and no one is responding on the GFs SCCA web site to my inquiries...anyone in our club have a phone contact with GFs leadership to see if I can get some sort of waiver?..I would hate to drive all the way up there to be on the wrong side of the fence...thanks, Mel

I'm not an authority on this but as I recall they need your name and SS# a good number of days before the event so they can give it to George W. so he can run a background check on you and see if they should have the water-board ready for you.

I think it might be too late.

The last time I went to an event there, I recall having to have the information 10 days in advance. But, once your info was in, you could enter the events for life.

Doesn't that depend on how your one-on-one time with Darth Cheney goes? Bring nose plugs.

I know the SEC has a study in black and white of my fingerprints, enshrined in some little folder in DC...but bet that means the same thing as an A- rating of Lehman Bros...i.e."don't mean nothin"...thanks for the responses--saves me a long drive in the country for no reason...will have to fish the Yellowstone this weekend....it is good bein me...

Hey Mel,

You leave my fish alone OK. You can sure catch all the whitefish you want though, just don't touch my Brownies!

ok,it is sat nite, and I fished three hours today--caught 10 whitefish and hooked up with another 13-species undetermined...so your browns are okay until tomorrow....Mel
