Points standings

Postby Mel Kuipers » Fri Sep 12, 2008 12:16 pm

I see the Top Five point standings for Raw and PAX for the year...is that list through the most recent event positings?..might be helpful to note that on the list...and would also like to see a list for all drivers for the year...I am proud of the top five, but would also like to see where I stand relative to them--and in talking with others in the club, bet they would also like to see where they stand...happy trails, Mel

I have been slacking I guess. The date stamp is now on the bottom of the standings now. As for complete standings, I have also been slacking. I will make them available to anyone who wants to see them, via e-mail, or at the meeting. Keep in mind the points results you will see, are without dropping the two lowest scores. So they may be different than the current top 5 points, because those are with two dropped scores.

Btw Mel, you are tied for 14th in ftd, with 14 pts. and tied for 20th in pax, with 11 pts.

There are no rookie points. Their points are just the same as everyone elses. The rookie of the year award is voted on by your fellow members.

I think Melo Mel was asking about how on gets points in general...... not how one gets "rookie" points. He just thought it was a rookie question.

or maybe I'm way off?!

Now that I read it more carefully, I think you are right Dave.

To get points in pax or ftd, you have to finish within the top 10 in the category for the event. The points are then awarded from 1st to 10th, in this order: 15, 12, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3.

How many points do we get if we place outside the top 10 but look really good while doing it?

Norm was asking.
