How about an introduction?

Postby Kevin NB8C' » Fri Sep 03, 2004 10:40 am

I figured I should make an intoduction for those of you I didnt really get a chance to talk to the other day....

My name is Kevin (obviously) and I plan on autocrossing quite a bit here in Bozeman. I have been autocrossing since I was 16 or 17, so I have about 5 years experience. It has been close to a year since the last autocross I went to (before the ice garden event) because I had been concentrating on roadracing. (mostly just track days with the porsche club and a couple others at the Memphis Motorsports Park). I know you guys dont really run classes, but I woudl be in CSP for autocross. My car is pretty much stock... only modifications being adjustable suspension pieces, 2.5" exhaust, and a CAI. Not really anything that ups the hp (I only start with 140, hehe). I might be changing my setup a little because I am running the stock swaybars and Toyo T1-S tires, which makes for some rather slow turn in and hurts my times on smaller tracks. Anyway, I hope to see you at the Helena event.

Hey Kevin! Welcome aboard to our tiny little SCCA region. As you have seen first hand we are just a bunch of goof off's!

Definitely would like to hear what auto-x's are like in other places. We are a little removed from the big stuff so it be nice to hear how things are run else where. Basically make sure we aren't scewing it up :)

Welcome Kevin. It was fun watching you push the Miata at the ice Garden.
We always like to help out the new guy if we can, so I'll let you in the hot ticket for Montana autocrossing, you will want to get these ordered and installed ASAP.
