Kirkey Aluminum Seats

Postby kjohnson » Fri Jun 02, 2017 8:04 am

I want to get rid of these seats to make some garage space. I know they're not in perfect shape, but if anyone is building a low-buck race car these will just about do. I got them from a stock-car racer.

The first one is pretty narrow, 16 inches overall. Its a tight squeeze even for me, but that's kinda the point, you don't want to move in these. It has a couple cracked welds, but seem to be holding up and could be fixed. Also, the bottom had been drilled out pretty wide in a couple places.

The next seat is wider, 18" overall, but they seem a lot wider then the first. I would slide around in this one like crazy. I used it for a passenger seat (not that anybody wanted to ride in it). I think it's in a bit better shape than the first one, but the fabric cover looks a bit dirty.

I've sort of attempted to sell these a couple times, and it hasn't worked out. Make an offer if interested. I might end up recycling them if they don't sell.

Last chance. They're free now. Come get them or I'm going to scrap them.
