EVO School - update 2/17/16!

Postby rkaiser » Wed Feb 10, 2016 4:30 pm

looking for help with the EVO School Phase 2 this year on April 30th. I won't be able to attend this time around. Pretty much just need someone who can be EC for the event. Tom K usually shows up around 5 or so Friday night so it would be nice to have someone that can make there to move the trailer and help set up. Other issues are just keep the event rolling Saturday and make sure lunch gets delivered (will probably do taco bar from airport restaurant again). If someone is up for the challenge to run the event (you can also participate) please let me know and I will get the paper work done ASAP.

Thanks
Russ

Russ...I can't commit to any local needs prior to April 15, but plan to be available for the two day school...I would also love to drive in the school...bottom line is I will commit to being there for the two day event, will be EC at the event, and will be a driver at the event...prior to those offerings, I am available from Az by email and phone

Thanks to the Southwest Montana Region of the SCCA, Evolution will be holding a Phase Two at the Rocky Mountain Emergency Services Training Center on Saturday April 30th. This program is great for anyone who has taken our Phase One, and is looking to take their driving to the next level.

All Evolution Performance Driving Schools take place rain or shine, and students will use their own vehicle for training. Student's vehicles will under go a tech inspection the morning of, and all students should be sure to have plenty of fuel, oil, air, etc. for the day.

Some additional items that we would suggest bringing to the event would be rain gear, sun glasses, sun block, and a hat. You may also want to consider bringing a folding chair, as well as a tarp in case of bad weather.

The following is a schedule for the day's event:

7:00am Site Opens
7:30am Club Tech Opens
8:30am Drivers Meeting
9:00am Instructed Sessions Begins
12:30pm Working Lunch
1:00pm Instructed Session Continue
4:30pm Wrap-up Meeting
For Directions to the site, please go to: Directions

For more information on this, as well as other Evolution Performance Driving Schools, please feel free to contact Mike "Junior" Johnson at: junior@evoschool.com

Looking to get the digital paperwork for this event done. Who are my event officials? I believe Mel has said he could be EC. Do we have a available SS and Chief of Waivers? I will contact EVO this week to see how many openings are left and get the food taken care of. Hopefully the Taco bar from the Airport restaurant will be acceptable again.
