First and Last Event of the Year

Postby wiseriver » Wed Jan 21, 2015 4:34 pm

OK people .... Here is a suggestion for the first event of the season, and the last one. It would be a blast to start off the season with something like this. Since there are plenty of skiers down in the Bozeman area, I believe we could come up with plenty of participants to get this thing up and running. What do you say? Hell... I'd even volunteer to do it.

Have a look...... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XMiW5m2JYgM

Enjoy....

Although you'd hate to fall in front of the car behind you, "World's Most Dangerous Sport" seems like an exaggeration. Especially when you consider the state of motorsports back then and that this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RMoh5hZAaZk happened the same year. People just weren't all that concerned with safety back then.

wow, roll bars were not required obviously, or maybe not even invented yet...motorsports has certainly come a long way since then...

In our family, that's called Z-joring and it is a crapload of fun!* At one point, I even had a water skiing style tow rope handle...thing made out of some baling twine and an old radiator hose that tied off on the hitch receiver.

Only in Montana, I suppose

*edit: one car/skier at a time, like solo.
