Look out all you boys

Postby DaveMk1 » Fri Jul 25, 2003 8:05 pm

I wanted ya'll to know that I am a gonna open a costco sized can O' whoop ass on you all this weekend at the garden.

I put a new V7 ( one them pistons dun got busted) out of an el Camino into my Cortina. It's got one of them hurst shifters that looks like a cue ball. I now have a 70%F-20%R weight split ( I lost 10% somewheres) so she handles just like the General Lee.

By the following weekend I'll have some Starsky and Hutch stripes on the side. (them guys was sure good actors uh uh).

So there's the warning. Keep your women at home if you want to keep-um cause once they see the V7 'Tina in action theys all mine.

Yo Dave,

Do you get 'European Car' magazine? There is an large article about Euro Fords in there, and they have a small section on yer car, very cool. There's some junk in there about Russ' Kenworth, i burned those pages immediately, then i stuffed them into a bottle rocket and boosted them into the next county, yech. Escorts, P U  :D :)

See you all at the ' Garden. I sure hope no sprinklers get stuck in the 'on' position out there, and douse the course with agua.

Ricky, we should talk about this anger you have towards my car :D Were you tormented by a Cosworth as a child. Did your father have one when you were a child and he spent more time with it than you :D I sense some deep psycological trama here - we must find the root of this so you can live again! Just wait and see what happens when my full WRC spec engine shows up

My Dad used to have a El Camino with a Hurst shifter! Was great in a straight line but turning was a near death experience

The Ice Gardens was a blast last year when it was raining- maybe we can get some tomorrow.

Its the 'mismanagement' of the cars controls that freaks me out. I spose the car itself is fine, its the steering, throttle, and braking inputs that it's fed that make me go crazy

My dad had a long string of Diesel GMC trucks, thats why i feel the need for Fast'n'Furiousness now!!!

See y`all tomorrow. I changed the air in my tires, its all fresh now, so look out 8) :!:

Look out all of you all boys,

I've been stayin up late drink'in PBR's and lisen'in to Marshall Tucker and the CDB while workin on Tina and you all's in deep doo tomorrow.

I pulled the V7 out of Tina and put in the original engine but I do have a secret weapon. I shouldn't tell you about it so's you don't try and steal my ideaer. But what the hell, y'all deserve a chance.

I took a distributor out of a 82' Pontiac grand am and stuffed into Tina. She didn't like that at first but she's get'in used to it. Now I done get a distributor for an 8 in my four and she spins twice as fast. She redlines at over 20,006 rpms.

The other thing I did was to take the screaming chicken offa da hood of the grand am (bonnet for you sallys from over yonder) and with a bit of shoe goo got it stuck on the hood of ol' Tina. Now she looks as bad as she is.

So leave you daughters at home and prepare to be a loser. Tina is back and she ain't happy.

Oh yeah! Well I put a whole bunch of "Type R" stickers on the Cossie. i figure each one is worth about 5 hp. Figure I've got about 100 of them there so I'm pushing out well over 850 hp! Also installed good old calssic white walled tires off a 1941 Packard and some styling wire wheels finished in pimp gold. Due to the size issues and brakes they are mounted outside the wheel wells - looks awesome! Can't wait to see the cones fly!

And the master piece - the firebird hood decal from a 1977 Smoky and the Bandit Special issue Pontiac Firebird Trans AM. That thing is worth 150 hp easily and 200 points of the cool factor. Took about 80 tubes of super glue and scotch tape but it looks mean!

Lastly, added some super special Homer Simpson issue speed holes. YOu gotta experience these to belive them. You can use them in really cool places like intake and boost hoses - makes a really cool whoosh noise now. And we all know that whoosh means power!

And for the finishing touch to add to the cool factor - neon pink tiger stripes! Do I need to say more!

This was all done while jamming to Milli Vannili and Menudo - Rock on!

You better lock up your daughters, mothers, wives and grandmothers because when they see this beast a running they will completely forget who they came with :D

see ya all Sunday :D

Yo, you dudes are waisting your time with all these power mods, handlin' is where its at dudes. Did i cut my springs to get a lower stiffer ride? No way dudes, I just took those sproingy unpredictable things right out of there, my car is sittin' SO low and its super stiff, doesn't even move. AND I mounted up some shaved Blizzaks, DUDE its on rails, I won't even brake at all on the course!

LOOK OUT!
