Yeah it was in good shape all paved and smooth. I did turn and go around the east side of Canyon Ferry at Townsend, so I don't know what the rest of the road to Helena look like. There is road construction from Manhattan to Three Forks but it is 65 thru there and no gravel.

Alright, I decided to do the test and tune instead of the event on sunday. I think it would be more beneficial to tune that nut behind the wheel then to just go race again. so sign me up if there is room.

If the time and date work I would love to take a 'how to' from the resident expert. I think it would be fun to design a course, even if that means I have to set it :roll: . Not to mention it would be good to give you a much deserved break from that position.

It is the same price to buy snorkle equipment and boogie boards as it is to rent so I recomend buying. Yeah that is exactly what I was thinking. It shouldn't be hard, just need to take the toughbook out to the stang to see how it fits and try to visualize what I need to do.

Hey Alex. I was thinking of fabbing a bracket to hold my toughbook in the trunk of the stang. It should be pretty easy to figure out how to attach and datalog some accelerometers. Maybe even hook up a bunch of webcams to monitor spring and swaybar reactions....But first the bracket.

Yeah, I don't know what the deal is. Sometimes they do go two events but then some events we change them twice. So I don't know what is going on with them. But it would seem prudent to have enough batteries for worse case.

Mel, The timing lights take AA's and use 16 a day. I think we have a few in the van but we are almost out. The radios also use them so it would be a good idea to get some more.
