Re: Well it is starting to end, manual transmissions

This aggravates me to no end, First, a large portion of the low take rate has to be blamed on the manufacturers. They would like nothing more than to kill the manual and only offer one transmission. They create their own self-fulfilling prophecy. The claim no one wants a manual and then only offer a...

Re: Shop Improvement Season

Sounds like a lot of work, us rednecks just put a dryer flap at the bottom of the wall, (flap opening inside the wall), and a fan with a temp switch at the top to allow convention currents to heat the air inside the shop. Of course I don't have any fancy radiant heat in my floor anyway.

Not sure on RomRaider or Subaru's specifically, but generally when you change the MAF, or anything to do with the turbo or intake system, you want to recalibrate your LTFTs (Long term fuel trim). If I recall correctly, been awhile, your ltft determines your baseline fueling requirements, when idling...

It's not 100% perfect, there are a couple of small spots where I didn't have enough filler but didn't notice when it was just in primer, but all in all I am pretty happy with it. Not sure what the little purple car is, but if your interested in a relatively cheap upgrade, check out pertronix. They make aftermarket electronic ignitions that just bolt in place of the points, and you just attach a little magnetic sensor to distributor shaft. I've used them, and they make a worl...

It's like rugby, but the players wear padded bras. Oh yeah, and they almost never touch the ball with their feet.

I agree with what has been said above. With just a tune and RSB, I would be in STS... Does your reflash change/increase boost level? Hmm it doesn't increase max boost, but does modify the curve I believe. I suppose the real solution is just to pour money into it until I am solidly in DSP.
